CBAW is dedicated to providing continued support and programming to service members, families and our communities. According to the CDC guidelines, “the best way to prevent illness is to avoid exposure.” To comply with these guidelines, and because so many of the members of our community are facing illness/compromised immune systems, CBAW will be replacing all in person writing groups and workshops with online writing groups until April 3rd.
We know that physical illness is not the only risk to our community–social isolation is harmful too, and this is a particularly challenging situation. We are here to help navigate the best way we know how, by coming together to write. In addition to taking our regular programs online, we’ll also be adding some new and exciting opportunities for us to continue to have social contact (minus germs). At this time, online programing is the safest and best way for CBAW to continue to fulfill our mission, which is to ensure that no Veteran bears the burden of service alone.
Keep an eye on our website and social media accounts for more information. Reach out if you have any questions or program ideas!
