Thank you for the wonderful, overwhelming outpouring of support over the past few weeks. Since posting my announcement, I’ve received so many emails from people who participated in the hospital programs and colleagues who were impacted by them— offering encouragement, love, and expressing faith in the importance of this work. But of course, this community being what it is, the main thing folks expressed was a desire to help out.

We’re fundraising, of course, and that’s an enormous part of what we have to do in order to keep our programs at Walter Reed and Ft Belvoir going, and to start the exciting work of scaling it. But another way to help us, one that costs zero dollars and is priceless, is adding your voice. It may seem like I’m bullshitting you, but I swear I’m not. We created a survey to measure our impact and improve our programs. We need your feedback and your stories to help us figure out where you are (and where we should go next). If you’ve participated in one of our workshops, please fill this survey out. It shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes to complete, and really makes a difference.
