DIY Textures for Acrylics — An Online Visual Art Workshop with Veteran Artist Renee’
June 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Suggested Supplies:
- Mixing containers
- Pallet knife
- A canvas of your choice
- Water
- Spoon
- Fork
- Chop stick
- Screw driver for drawing (or any tool you have available)
Bring one of the following Options for texture:
- Wall Joint Compound
- Baby or Talcum Powder
- Plaster of Paris
Needed for binding:
- PVA glue
- Any acrylic paint
Optional items for adding a different look to your textures:
- Small fillers such as gravel
- Tapioca pearls
- Beads
- Old garden seeds
- Stone texture
- Hobby or play sand (as long as it’s clean.)
Renee’ is a self-taught intuitive multimedia artist and USCG Veteran.
