Calling All Veteran Artists!
This Fall, we have an amazing opportunity to participate in Bastion Community of Resilience’s first ever Veteran Experience Project on Veterans Day in New Orleans. The event will be a day full of programming that explores the military experience through visual art, the written and spoken word, performances, and discussion panels.
CBAW has the opportunity to have Veteran Artists submit their artwork for a Digital Art Exhibit titled In This Together. The theme of this exhibit focuses on bridging the civilian and military culture gap, allowing civilians to slip into the boots of a diverse array of veteran artists.
Open to Veterans, Military Spouses/Family Members, and Caregivers.
Submit a piece (or more) of your artwork which tells your story. Two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and all mediums are welcome! High-resolution images of your artwork must be submitted. Feel free to use your cell phone to photograph your art. We have created a helpful cheat-sheet full of tips and tricks to get the best quality photos of your artwork using your cell phone.
