On April 12th, CBAW is excited to welcome book artist Laura Rowley, to our Wednesday Visual Arts Workshop, for a special 90-minute session focused on creating our own zines.
Zines: Little Books with Infinite Potential – April 12th, 2023 at 7 PM EDT
“Zines” have been created for many years by artists, writers, activists, and more as an affordable and accessible way to share their work. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how zines have evolved over time, practice a few bookbinding structures that are useful for zines, and spend time creating your own with your existing art or writing or generating new content. You’ll take away a zine that’s ready to be copied and shared.
This workshop is part of our weekly Visual Arts Workshop series and returning participants should use the recurring link to join the session. If you are new to our workshops, click here to register.
