Spend your Saturday evening in a 90 minute interactive songwriting workshop with Wesley & Jer of The Lumineers! The Lumineers are partnering with Community Building Art Works to lead a songwriting workshop for veterans as well as some lucky fans!
How to Enter:
- Active Duty and Veterans please use the FREE ticket option to enter your name in the drawing of seats reserved for military personnel. Limit 1 FREE entry, if selected must verify military service.
- For each $10.00 donation, you will receive one (1) entry into the drawing to participate in the workshop. Unlimited entries

- Participants selected for the songwriting workshop will be notified via email by June 10,2020.
- Selected participant will have to confirm participation availability within {24 hours} or will forfeit opportunity to join the workshop.

Seema Reza is a poet and essayist and the author of two books: A Constellation of Half-Lives and When the World Breaks Open. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Writing and Community Building from Goddard College. In 2010 Seema began working with service members, veterans, and their families at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and has since developed a unique multi-hospital arts program that encourages the use of the arts as a tool for narration, self-care and socialization. In 2015, the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore awarded Seema the Col John Gioia Patriot Award for her work with service members in military hospitals. Seema is a 2019 George W. Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Scholar.
