Do you have a story aching to be told? Do you wonder how to start, or what makes a “memoir” more than just a collection of stories? Come to this workshop and leave with an actionable outline, resources, and next steps for starting and finishing your book!

Join Anne Kiehl Friedman, author of the best-selling memoir Higher Love, for a writing workshop benefiting Community Building Art Works. Ticket sales from this fundraising workshop will benefit CBAW programs for veterans, service members, military families, and health care workers. A limited number of FREE tickets for Veterans, Service Members, and Healthcare workers are available on a first come, first served basis. This workshop will be recorded, and a link will be e-mailed to all ticket holders once the recording is available.*

As a special bonus, Anne has provided a special link to a discounted copy of her best selling memoir Higher Love! This special link will be provided via email to all registrants!

*Recording will only contain workshop lessons. All other participant video will be edited for user privacy. Only registered participants will have access to the recorded workshop.

Anne Kiehl Friedman - The Art of Memoir

Anne Kiehl Friedman is a professional writer whose first book, Higher Love: A Psychedelic Travel Memoir of Heartbreak and Healing, launched as a #1 New Release on Amazon in Medicine & Psychology. It is “a memoir that’ll have you traveling, tripping, and seeing yourself in the passenger seat of a meaningful story of discovery,” according to the Independent Book Review, and a 5-star debut from Literary Titan. Anne worked as a speechwriter and ghostwriter for prominent individuals in film, philanthropy, and politics, before returning to writing for herself. A graduate of Stanford University, ESADE, and The Berkeley Chaplaincy Institute, Anne holds BA’s in Sociology and Political Science, an MBA, and is an ordained Interfaith Minister.
